Art about peace, tolerance, compassion, diversity and "The Beloved Community" in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Start now to create an artistic expression in sculpture, painting, drawing, photography, poetry, performance, dancing, singing.

Events Scheduled:

Friday Jan 18 5-7 pm Public Reception for group art show: Great refreshments

Friday Jan 18 7pm "The Code" original cast from the original play by Portland playwright Kwik Jones. This play from the streets of Portland asks: how does racism influence our relationships with each other? Discussion with playwright and cast follows.

Saturday, Sunday and Monday 10-5pm Bring your sewing machine and gather round our cozy NEW PELLET STOVE to help put together "Sue Sacks" to help fill the empty shelves at our regional Food Banks. Savory soups, homemade bread, hot tea and coffee served all day. We will have guided Children's Art Projects in the art room so parents can relax and SEW! So bring the whole family and help address the county's food shortage in a sustainable way. If you don't sew, there will be plenty of things to do in the kitchen and the artroom!

Saturday Evening 7pm; open mic: performances, readings, and songs upstairs.
