Major Kudos to everyone who worked so hard on the Surreal Art Show and Masquerade Ball last night, and who helped contribute to a highly successful and fun evening!

This includes everyone: the organizers, the musicians, the artists and jurors, and to all the wonderful guests who showed up and helped make last night a very memorable event. Astoria is a wonderful town full of great people, and events like last night remind me of how lucky I am to live here, and to be able to call many of you my friends! \:\)

Last night's event was awesome on all levels, and I was blown away with how well you all pulled it off!

PS: Did anyone take any pictures we can post in this forum?

Hi Phil, It was good to see you at the show!

Yes a splendid time was had by all! Thank you to everyone for giving us a heavy dose of surreal inspiration! I see visionaries in everyone who came to the show and the ball, and everyone who submitted art! Remember everyone has the capability of tapping into the subconscious mind and making sense of random thoughts by applying them in the arts. By doing this we can bring to light problems and the unusual ways we can solve them.

I will swing by tomorrow or whenever you're there (or Jamie)to drop off a cd of a few photos that actually came out. You can use them either on the web or the newsletter. I got some good ones of costumes. I think I told most of my subjects that they might be in a newsletter, so I believe we can use them all.

Yes, it was an awesome event. I suggest that we do it again next year -- only bigger! I have a line on some circus elephants we could borrow... \:\)

That's great that you took some photos! We'll definitely post them on the website. Drop the disk off with Jamie, but also email me some of the better digital images and I'll post them when I get them.
