I first found this little gem a few years ago on WIlliam Gibson's blog, and it still holds up (ps: it's better in higher resolution, but that version no longer seems available)...

And here's Roger...

"Hoover, Blaupunkt, Nissan, Jeep, Nike, Addidas, Lacoste and cheaper brands..."

PS: And I am managing to get some art done every morning. Surfing YouTube has provided a nice diversion and a way to cleanse my palate after a little work; in contemporary media distribution terms, it's more pull than push... ;\)

And now for something completely different...

And truly bizarre...

I think it's a commercial for some kind of Japanese shock-absorbing goo...

And let's not forget this classic from a few years back. It's a commercial for a Japanese architecture firm; complete with a tanuki at the end...

I..., I..., I don't really know how to respond to that...

...

...

...I still have nothing, ah..., nothing...

to add.

Well, here's a palate cleanser for you then...

Tom Jobim and Elis Regina performing "Waters of March," and sounding like their having a lot of fun...

A float, a drift, a flight, a wing
A hawk, a quail, the promise of spring
And the river bank talks of the waters of March
It's the promise of life, it's the joy in your heart

--Antonio Carlos Jobim

I wished I was Alfalfa, but I suppose I'll always be Spanky.

If different species of critters can get along,
maybe there's hope down in the Lebanon...
