Okay all I am going to become a member at the end of the month but I'm a little concerned I might not fit in. I am not formaly trained as an artist (I'm a teacher for now) and my art is mostly fiber art-quilts both peiced and art quilts (I love to paint and add beads, buttons, even rocks, to my quilts), purses and totebags that are my own designs and a little surrealism and protest quilts. I have started by own business based on my designs and projects. So, do you think I'll fit in with the group?

It's not so much a matter of us accepting you, as you accepting us -- we are, after all, a diverse, and rather loony group, ourselves!

Thanks! Loony is good! You should see my found art object for the donation at the end of the month. So often fiber arts are viewed as a craft rather than an art. Your posting made me much less concerned.
